Professional Summary
Research and Collaborations My research focuses on sensor-driven stress assessment, digital psychotherapeutic tools, and open-source infrastructures at the interface of biopsychology and artificial intelligence. Alongside acquiring funding for my own research program, including support by the Emerging Talents Initiative (ETI) of fau (2026–2027, EUR 14.9k), I contributed to successful grant applications for several competitive research projects, such as the CRC EmpkinS (2021–2025) and the bidt-funded Digitalization College Applied Data Science in Digital Psychology (2022–2026). Research collaborations: I maintain active collaborations with leading national and international research groups, including Charité Berlin (Prof. Dr. Sonja Entringer), University of Bonn (Prof. Dr. Matthias Braun), and the NYU Grossman School of Medicine (Prof. Dr. Katharina Schultebraucks). Industry collaborations: I collaborate with several industry partners to translate research findings into practical applications, including BEE Medic GmbH, tVNS Technologies GmbH and Empatica Inc.
